Who is this Wiseguy fella?
1974 – Born in Cincinnati, Ohio
1974-1993 – Lived on a tobacco farm in Brown County, Ohio, between the towns of Russellville and Winchester. This is located approximately 10 miles north of Kentucky and 60 miles east of Cincinnati.
1979-1993 – Played every competitive sport possible: baseball, basketball, track & field, cross country, soccer, and golf. Football wasn’t available where I lived, but I raced go-karts for 13 years.
1980-1985 – Attended Ash Ridge Elementary School
1985-1989 – Attended Russellville Elementary and Junior High School
1989-1993 – Attended Eastern Brown High School
1992 – Track and field Ohio state champion Division II 400m dash. Personal bests: 100m 10.8, 200m 22.1, 400m 49.55
1993 – Broke Eastern Brown HS school record in free throw % and three pointers made. Broke track and field school records in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100r, 4x400r, 4x800r, and Long Jump.
1993-1998 – Attended Kent State University, ran track and field, majored in Business Information Systems and Management. Broke four school records (600m, 4x100r, 4x400r indoor and outdoor). Personal bests: 200m 21.20 (21.52 indoor), 400m 47.86, 4x100r 39.93
1997-2003 – Created and operated Kenttrack.com, a website devoted to Kent State University Track & Field. Helped create the website for the overall Kent State Athletic Department.
1998-2003 – Assistant Track & Field Coach Kent State University (3 MAC team championships).
1999-2000 – The “Y2K guy” for Kent State Athletics.
1999-2003 – Sports information director for Kent State Track & Field.
2004-2006 – Head Track & Field/Cross Country Coach Eastern Brown High School. (7 SHL team championships).
2004-2006 – Started and operated Wise-Sports.com, and online website company that promoted high school athletic conferences around southern Ohio. Also produced SHL Hoop News, a weekly program for boys’ and girls’ basketball teams of the Southern Hills League.
2006-present – Assistant Director of Track & Field Wichita State University (23 MVC & AAC team championships).
2020-present – Travel with a Wiseguy on YouTube.
I’ve been to all 50 United States and the following countries:
Bahamas, Canada, Jamaica, Ireland, Great Britain, France, China, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Iceland, New Zealand, Fiji, Cayman Islands, Honduras, Belize, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Bolivia.
